Scholarships for Children of WEA Members

The WEA Scholarship nomination forms are due April each year. Three of the scholarships are available to children of WEA members. The fourth is available to a student of Hispanic descent going into the education field. All scholarships are given only to students graduating from a Washoe County School District public high school. We will begin accepting applications in February, and generally make decisions in April. Your WEA Reps will have the forms, as do high school principals and scholarship counselors. You can also download the forms here.
