NSEA Loretta Harper Reach for the Stars Scholarship
The Nevada State Education Association (NSEA), in partnership with elected leaders and community members, is pleased to offer scholarships to those applicants who are selected. The NSEA supports students pursuing a degree in education and highly encourages these students to apply. However, the NSEA supports all education, so the application process is not limited to education students.
To apply for NSEA’s “Loretta Harper Reach for the Stars” scholarship, candidates must be a graduating senior or must have previously graduated from a Nevada public high school. Candidates must be enrolled or enrolling in a Nevada accredited:
- community college,
- 4-year university,
- career technology institution.
The post-marked deadline for applications is March 15, 2019. Applications are also available online at www.nsea-nv.org, by clicking on “Member Center” and then “Scholarships”.
NSEA is excited to reach out to our state in a positive effort to increase the skills and talents of our present and future workforce. The scholarships will be awarded in April 2019. If you have any further questions, please contact Lisa Toth, Director of Operations, at (702) 733-7330 or 800-248-6732, extension 5026
